A heavily modified Graham Farish Class 40 finished as 40056 in 1984 condition. Improvements include a see-through etched roof grille with visible fan, replacement etchings for the cab window surrounds and windscreen wipers, further detailing of the fronts including handrails, headcode disk clips, lamp irons, and scratch built correctly sized and patterned headcode disks. The buffer-beams have been completely rebuilt to a higher profile in order to close the gap slightly and re-position the buffers to the correct height. The dome shaped pony axle linkage covers have also been moved to the correct more central position, and the coupling entry hole has been covered with the correct rectangular slot cut into the buffer-beam.
Not to mention a complete re-spray into BR Blue livery and serious weathering job!
